After many years of working in the music industry, Charles was approached about scoring a short film. Eager to expand his horizons into film, Charles began studying film scoring at UCLA. Two years later he was awarded the BMI/Jerry Goldsmith film scoring scholarship. Mr. Goldsmith's financial support along with his belief in Charles' potential had an enormous impact on his confidence which continues to this day. Encouragement in this industry is everything!
